Introduction[]
Pokémon Black and White are set in the Unova region. When you first load up the game, you will be shown a cutscene involving Team Plasma and the crowning of their king, N. After this, you'll be introduced to Professor Juniper along with her Minccino, who introduces you into the world of Pokémon. Select your gender and enter your name. The default name for the male character is Hilbert, while the default name for the female character is Hilda. Juniper will then introduce you to your friends and rivals, Cheren and Bianca.
Seasons[]

After she is done talking, you'll see what season it currently is. These change based on what month it is in real life, or what your system's clock is set to.
- Spring occurs in January, May, and September.
- Summer occurs in February, June, and October.
- Autumn occurs in March, July, and November.
- Winter occurs in April, August, and December.
You'll then see Professor Juniper walk in and back out of your house.
